Question 1

Why work with Jennifer Nash Education?

Accepted Answer

This is more than homework help. I mentor students in how to think, how to approach challenges, and how to manage their academic lives with increasing independence. The work is relational and personalized, shaped by experience at Fusion Academy and years of guiding students with care and precision.

Question 2

What makes your approach different?

Accepted Answer

Sessions are active, relational, and often more dynamic than families expect from traditional tutoring. Neurodivergent students often think best when they can move, speak, visualize, or embody what they are learning. Visual mapping, rhythm, and creative expression are woven into the work so learning feels safe, interactive, and playful.

Question 3

What universities have your students been accepted into?

Accepted Answer

Students have been accepted to UCLA, USC, UC Berkeley, UC San Diego, Stanford, Princeton, NYU, Northeastern, Bennington, and California College of the Arts, among others. College preparation extends beyond GPA and applications to identifying the programs and opportunities that align with a student's strengths and long-term goals.

Question 4

Can you help if my child is behind, overwhelmed, or disengaged?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Many students arrive feeling discouraged, anxious, or disconnected from school. I meet students exactly where they are, without judgment, and begin rebuilding structure, clarity, and confidence. When a student feels understood and capable again, engagement follows.

Question 5

How quickly will we see results?

Accepted Answer

Every student's trajectory is different. The first session is devoted to understanding the student and establishing trust. For most students, meaningful shifts in organization, confidence, and emotional regulation emerge within the first few weeks, with academic growth building steadily from there.

Question 6

Who are homeschool pods for?

Accepted Answer

Homeschooling support is designed for families seeking a more individualized, flexible, or values-aligned approach to education, including students who thrive with a personalized pace, neurodivergent learners who benefit from a customized environment, and families wanting expert guidance while leading at-home learning.

Question 7

How is your work different from therapy?

Accepted Answer

I am not a licensed therapist; my work is academic mentorship. Emotional regulation, growth mindset development, and mindfulness practices are integrated into sessions within the context of concrete academic strategy and skill-building. The focus remains educational, but the support is whole-child.

Question 8

Do you take Regional Center funds?

Accepted Answer

Yes. I accept Regional Center funding through the Self-Determination Program (SDP). You can use your allocated SDP budget to pay for my services, and I work directly with ACE FMS as the Financial Management Services provider to process payments, making billing seamless.
